The rooms at Bliss in the Bay are absolutely stunning! From the moment you step inside, you'll be blown away by the large en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. And guess what? They even have satellite television in there! It's like a mini oasis of relaxation and entertainment. Plus, each room has a private balcony or sun deck area, so you can enjoy the beautiful view. As a guest who appreciates luxury and comfort, I couldn't have asked for more.
Personally, I found the separate entrance to be a bit inconvenient. It would have been nice to have direct access from inside the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Crawfords on Beacon Isle very much. The staff was extremely helpful. Our only regret was that our schedule prevented us from staying longer.

The room was light and airy, a nice big bathroom (especially after experiencing the Protea Hotels in Mossel Bay and George!). The breakfast was ample and the hotel was quite flexible in eating times. The price was also very good value for money and I liked the fact that the breakfast was included.
There was quite a lot of motorbike noise in the road outside the hotel quite late at night which can be a nuisance if you sleep lightly (which I do!!) The curtains of the room are also quite thin which lets in a lot of street lamp light at night.

Bliss In The Bay is a delightful hotel with rooms that open out onto a private balcony, allowing guests to soak up the spectacular view of the bay. It's like having a front-row seat to nature's very own theater, where whales and dolphins provide an enchanting performance just within reach. Each morning, I enjoyed farmhouse-style breakfasts in the cozy Crawford's lounge, feeling as if I were dining in a charming countryside retreat. The spacious sun deck with a plunge pool was my ultimate sanctuary, a place where I could relax and unwind, feeling as if I were basking in the serene bliss of my own private oasis. With an honesty bar in the private guest lounge, I indulged in a refreshing drink while marveling at the beauty of the surroundings. Bliss In The Bay truly offers a unique and enchanting experience that transports you to a world of tranquility.

The rooms at Bliss In The Bay are absolutely amazing! They have large en-suite bathrooms with both a shower and a bath, which is perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Plus, they even have satellite TV in the bathroom! How cool is that?
Personally, I found the separate entrance in the rooms to be a bit inconvenient.

Very little
The number of TV channels was very restricted and reception characterised by double images and snow. The bed sagged a little and foam rubber stuffed pillows are not famous for being comfortable. The piece de resistance was breakfast. Served on cold plates, my wife's scrambled egg was dry and cold and my fried egg extremely well done - to the point of being vulcanised. The maid on duty was willing and, while she probably speaks several languages, she had a problem with English and Afrikaans. We tried both. Sort out the TV, replace the beds and teach the staff the various ways of cooking eggs and the need for hot plates. Then you could have a nice little business

Crawfords has excellent sized and maintained rooms with all the facilities required. A very quiet location.
Crawfords was a short drive to the town centre, this journey required the use of car (or a taxi), other than this a fantastic place to stay.

Our romantic escape was absolutely wonderful! The spacious and clean room made us feel so comfortable, plus the staff was super helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the deck area by the pool, which was so relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. The location was also great, with quick access to the grocery store and an easy walk to the beautiful beach. And the breakfast provided was a nice bonus!

Bliss In The Bay is a great hotel with fantastic value for money. The prices are extremely reasonable, making it affordable for any traveler or holiday maker. The attention to detail is commendable, especially with the clean rooms and large modern bathrooms. The location is perfect, situated on an island which juts into one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is close enough to walk to the beach or the shops, and it is also perfectly positioned next to a beautiful park. The rooms, especially on the upper level, have balconies which provide stunning views. The breakfast is a highlight of the stay, with a wide variety of options including homemade goodies.
All was fine during my stay.
